To The President, and Only the President.
Dear President Obama,
I hope I don't take up too much of your time. I simply want to say that the most loving woman I had the pleasure of knowing, and the honor of calling my grandmother had the dying wish that I go to Israel and get Bar-Mitzvahed. She brought me up to appreciate my sephardic heritage. She passed away when I was 11 years old. I Had studied in Hebrew school (twice a week, in addition to public school) since 2nd grade - 7th grade. I went to Israel for 4 weeks in 1996 with my family, on a tour. I'm saying this only for one reason. President Obama I support your plan of bringing the 1967 borders for Israel, and Palestine to reach peace. Let me just say that right after my four weeks in Israel (With fellow jews) My wish was to travel to Egypt, and my family went with me for 8 days, we visited Cairo, and Luxor. I think that the most valuable resource in the middle east are the resourceful and sophisticated philosophies of Egyptian Muslims, Christians, and Jews. I'm well aware of the issue that Zionists take,"When land and homes are returned to Palestinians, some homes include greenhouses, and the Palestinians break the windows right after moving in because it was built by Israelis" If I may, Zionists are spinning such events to barbarize Palestinians. Palestinians don't have the resources in the main stream media to show how much oppression, and suppression they are inflicted with at the hands of radical zionists.
With all do respect Mr. President, I had family members perish in the Holocaust, and I also had family members survive the Holocaust. Two wrongs don't make a right, but the middle ground is letting Israel be acknowledged by Palestine peacefully, and not suppress the Palestinians anymore because ultimately they were displaced from their land pre-emptively, and their 1967 confrontation wasn't un-virtuous. It is even disputably just. So you're Effort is purely virtuous Mr. President. Again I offer you my support, and I pray for The World, the middle East, Japan, North Africa, The USA, and You.
God Bless American,
Joseph Naham
